Update..

I could not get into blogging for sometime.Does that tell you something? Nah! I am not busy. I am now lazy. Freaking Lazy. I can't think or may be when I am thinking I am not writing about it. Swine flu and Dussehra have given me a long break of two weeks from college. I was stuck up all these days in a eat-sleep-wake up cycle(thinnama, padukunnama, tellarindhaa :-))
Doing nothing for a continuous period of makes you feel restless and giddiness dominates your mind.Hope to get back to work and blogging soon!

LATE NIGHT THOUGHTS!!!

The true potential of any creative activity is found in silence. What are thoughts? Are these just the expressions of your mind Or random ideas/feelings/dreams stacked up at a corner in it?I probably spend too much time thinking about life.So many nights i have spent thinking-Thinking about various things - Staring at the ceiling- Thinking of doing something other than nothing- About packing my bag and running towards a mountain, about the game i always loved to play, lost friends i would want to meet again,May be about my life ten years from now,how things would be then?Or recollecting my childhood experiences and wondering how time had passed so quickly!!- about many unfulfilled dreams that are the basic cause of thoughts.Have you ever had your most constructive thought at night? There is a kind of reality in these thoughts which make our life very much interesting and exciting. It creates a great feeling of passion to convert these dreams into reality. There in a character by the name Santiago in the book"The Alchemist".He believed in his dream so much that he travels all the way to Egyptian pyramids in order to chase his dream.
Each thought is the creator of a new experience and when we put all our efforts to make these dreams into reality,Life would be a wonderful journey isn't it?

DEATH

I had read this story somewhere. May be in some of the forward mails. There is a guy who travels on a train with his two children. As soon as he hops into the train from the station, the silence of train compartment breaks into a chirpy noise and shouts. The children were making so much noise and fighting that it woke sleeping people in the compartment. Most of them had a frown on their face looking at these kids run mayhem.

The guy with the two children was quiet. He sat and said nothing to his son and daughter creating clutter and argument. The lady who sat next to the guy asked him, if he can do something about his children. The guy replied saying, these kids just lost their mom in the hospital. The scene of frown and grin turns to sympathy. Death can create such a spell on anyone.

People come into this world, have a long life of 70/80 years or even more and later perish. Its so simple and perfect in scientific terms right???This was my opinion about Life & Death.
But Have I forgotten something?
Yes! What about the human emotions involved in the process? The love, affection and the bonding which you develop with a person. The bitter fact that the person with whom u share a great relationship, is no more...

My Grandfather passed away last April suffering from a complex blood clotting and Aasthama.I share an intimate realtionship with him.He was a simple, affectionate, caring, innocent and a highly educated man who has sacrified many things in his life.
After 75 days of struggle he has left this world leaving all of us in deep pain and sorrow.I still remember the moment, my mother and grandmother emotionally broke down, when the message was conveyed on phone.

When dealing with death, the solution is the same whether the death is our own or that of a loved one. As hard as it is to accept, we must understand that death is a part of life. death is the only thing in life that comes with a 100% guarantee.

Seeking Attention..

After posting the first article on my blog, I was so excited about creating it that every hour, I kept checking if anyone has commented on it or is some one following me...
and each time I saw, I got disappointed... :( thanks to all those who have commented after getting an invitation from me to visit my blog and comment.
I had pasted the link to the blog on my orkut profile and was eager to know what others feel like.
My second post was something different from the previous one and i expected people to atleast have a glance at it. After two days, i realised, why am I expecting others to see my blog and appreciate it??? what is the purpose of me writing my thoughts in public....why would somebody be interested in even reading what i think???
surely i am not Aamir Khan whose blog is visited by thousands of people in a day...
But may be its not only about the blog...its about life in general...
we all seek for attention and we all feel confident on getting appreciated...

The greatest gift you can give others is the purity of your attention.

Getting Busy!!!

Almost 6 weeks of my leisure and long rest ended with the last week.I was granted permission for in-plant training at NFC for a duration of two weeks and it started off from monday.I was already too much accustomed to rest and with some effort i came out of this slumber.Well, let me give you a brief picture overview NFC.
NFC established somewhere in 1960's on the outskirts of Hyderabad is a premier organisation under the Dept of Atomic Energy(DAE).This unit of DAE supplies bundles of fuel rods to be used in the six nuclear reactors across the country. It gets Zirconium from Kerala in its natural state , processes it ,implants uranium pellets and produces bundles of fuel rods which are directly installed in the nuclear reactors. There are a sequence of steps in the conversion of the raw material into the fuel bundles.
Yesterday i observed the Billet Preparation Store, the one which produces the end parts and the binding needs of the uranium embedded zirconium rods and the techniques which they implement to produce highly impeccable goods. You can see a pic of the fuel rod bundles(couldn't get a better pic...Cameras and mobiles aren't allowed inside the plant). One can get a clear idea about the various production and metallurgical processes like extrusion, welding, heat treatment, melting and many more.Special Purpose machines for carrying out honing, pilgering and auto lathes are some more interesting things to be observed. Some of them are Russian and German made and rest are manufactured by HMT.
I was quite astonished and inspired knowing the foresight of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha who recognized the need to develop indigenous nuclear technology more than four decades ago.His position in the Indian Nuclear Reasearch programme was synonymous to Vikram Sarabhai in the field of Indian Space Research Programme.Though we depend on foreign countries for Uranium,we have the technology to use it for the needs of the country.
If you have the natural resouces but dont have the technology to use it,the resources are of no use to you.The African Continent is a perfect example for this. This part of the world has huge mineral wealth but the people are ignorant and have neither knowledge nor technology to harness their natural wealth.Japan on the other hand,a tiny island on th global map which in the past has suffered from atom bombs, devastating earth quakes,is today one of the most industriased nations of the world.Their mineral deposits are almost nil.But the hard working population of Japan paved the way for many recent trends in the field of science&technology. They import raw materials, convert them into processed goods and export them earning huge profits.
Its really surprising to know the complications and the depth of each and every aspect of an industry.Every field is complex let it be genetics or space research, whether it's biotechnology or IT.There are many finer details in each and every field.Complications are a part of each and everything in the universe.
Today i watched "Angels and Demons".I was waiting to watch this movie, but the funniest part is i dozed off for about 30 min in the first half of the movie...Heheh first it was terribly hot and i had to walk for about 2 km in the afternoon on the way to i max.My eyelids couldn't stop themselves from relaxing!! The movie was fine(for the part i have seen). After a busy week, some recreation and fun is all that i hope for.T20 Final is on the top of my list this weekend and i am cheering for Pakistan...Come on.... they rose like the phoenix from the ashes despite many controversies.I know that the odds are in favour of SL but an interesting game is all that i am waiting for...

Where are we heading to????

Life...
Life has been defined and illustrated in various ways by people, over the years. Some call it as "The little time frame which exists between birth and death"...Some call it as a Battle.. recalling the Darwin's theory of existence... others call it as a beautiful journey and so on...
Infact i have constantly been trying for the last couple of years to define life in my own words.. For doing this i have looked back at my own life from the time i have entered this so called world till the moment i complete writing these thoughts. Also i have looked into the lives of various people.. my mother, uncles, neighbours, friends, actors, politicians, common people, businessmen etc.
I have observed many aspects and felt some of them need to be mentioned..
We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; we have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgement; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; We've done larger things, but not better things. We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; We've become long on quantity, but short on quality.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but, lower morals.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family an unwise investment indeed.....
Life is very much unpredictable. One moment u ll be jumping with joy and delight and the next moment u might be depressed.Life a very adventurous game and every one has to play their part..But what really matters is How Well U Play??
